Alpha Tanganyika Flavour (ATFL), this leading food processing company is a privately owned firm. The headquarter of the company was originally located in Kigoma, Tanzania and later moved to Sumbawanga, Mazwi Industrial Area in Rukwa Region. The company was established and incorporated (under Tanzania’s Companies Act, 2002) in 2017; with a mission to create and design food distribution system that will ensure readily available supply of nutritious and tasteful African ethnic food products to working men and women of African descent living in the diaspora.
The company is specialized in processing and exporting natural food products including sea food. With over 30 years experience in handling and marketing of all types of seafood we have the confidence and the commitment to deliver the highest quality seafood to our current and new customers around the world.

We always strive to be the best and unique in the way we offer our products. We are among major stakeholders in the fishing industry with Tanzania Incorporation Number 136472 and Tax Payer Identity 135-953-830.
We are the first Fish Processing Plant in Tanzania to process fish from Lake Tanganyika and Lake Victoria. We are also the first Fish Processing Plant operating off shores of Lake Tanganyika in Tanzania and to be Certified by the EU. Our facilities are certified and approved to export to EU with APP number 236.
